about me

when i was 18, i bought a book by Masahiro Chatani, the master in origamic architecture. i made one card and gave up shortly thereafter to pursue things like college and girls. at 31 (in 2009), i decided to start up again. so here i am.

i'm obsessed with cutting paper. my work consists mostly of cutting and folding a single sheet of paper for a pop up card.

i get much appreciated advice and guidance from artist Joyce Aysta.

my other interests: my family, my girlfriend Frances, my parrotlet Pico, dancing in my living room, poker, progressive politics, documentaries and Vietnamese food.
